*Receptionist/Junior Treament Co-Ordinator

Our client is compliant with all the regulations outlined by the RCDSO & CDHO guidelines and protocols recommended by the Ontario Ministry of Health.

We have multiple full-time admin and a treatment co-ordinator on staff as we are a large multi-disciplinary practice.

Position/Job requirement

• Multiple languages an asset.
• Minimum College Diploma.
• Familiarity in Orthodontics and Periodontics an asset.
• Moderate to strong command of the English language both spoken and written.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a dental office.
• Excellent command of the English language both spoken and written.
• Dentrix, Excel, Word an asset.

Job Overview

• Must be able to work in a fast paced and busy environment.
• Greet patients in a warm and welcoming manner
• Accurately maintain charts and patient records
• Prepare instructions regarding patient’s treatments and follow ups
• Prepare and submit all pre-determinations from treatment plans
• Organizational skills a must.
• Present fees, give estimates for treatment, and make financial arrangements with the patient
• Coordinate with specialist's office: send x-rays, explanatory letters etc.
• Educate and thoroughly discuss treatments after the dentist has diagnosed and reviewed treatment
• Prepare a thorough written treatment plan as per doctor's instructions
• Multi-tasking capabilities a must.
• Take calls from patients or specialists who have questions about treatment
• Explain benefits, recommendations and post-operative care
• Schedule/confirm patient appointments, procedures and consultations using MacPractice software (will be trained)

Hours: Start Immediately

• Mon to Fri: 8:30-5:30
• Possible additional Saturdays and some evening where needed some flexibility possible, TBD
• Minimum of one Saturday a month (9-2)

Location:

• Bloor/Dundas St. West (Roncesvalles/between Bloor & Queen St. West
• Free residential street parking (Free parking on High Park Blvd)
• Accessible by transit

Compensation

• Basic dental for employee, their spouse and children included after three months, and contract signed
• $TBD depending on experience and performance
