Project / Product Management Trainer Coordinator

About the Role:

As a Project Management / Product Management Trainer Coordinator at Custom Scholar, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Lead Instructor in delivering comprehensive training programs focused on Project and Product Management. Your organizational skills and passion for the field will contribute to the success of our students as you facilitate training sessions, manage study groups, and ensure effective collaboration between instructors and participants.

Your Responsibilities:

• Create, organize, and manage study groups for capstone projects, providing guidance to students for successful completion.
• Administer weekly discussion questions, homework assignments, and quizzes to reinforce learning objectives.
• Foster collaboration between instructors and students, addressing queries and ensuring a conducive learning environment.
• Lead labs lectures, providing practical demonstrations and insights into project and product management concepts.
• Assist the Lead Instructor in facilitating training sessions, including starting and closing meetings, sending invitations and reminders, and maintaining attendance records.
• Provide support to students for exam information, registration, and preparation, ensuring a smooth testing experience.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage training logistics.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a project manager within software development teams.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with participants and assist with their queries.
• PMP certification is desired but not mandatory.
• Previous teaching experience is not required but considered advantageous.
• Passion for project management and product management domains, with a strong desire to assist working professionals in their development.
• Classroom management experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in using project management and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence.
