Position Summary:

As a Project Director / Senior Project Manager, you'll lead multiple small capital and large projects (up to 500 million TIC) from inception to commissioning. You'll apply strategic and tactical project management skills to ensure seamless execution, tailored to client needs. Based in or near Montreal for proximity to current projects, you'll engage clients, manage complexities, and oversee project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Provide regular project updates to clients, senior management, and stakeholders.
• Act as the main client contact, demonstrating professionalism and effective communication.
• Manage project invoicing, receivables, and quality assurance.
• Support team development, training, and growth opportunities.
• Establish project scope, schedule, and budget during bid development.
• Motivate and mentor project teams, ensuring high performance and quality.
• Monitor project progress, aligning with deliverables and milestones.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, defining goals, risks, staffing, and deliverables.
• Oversee all project execution aspects, including cost and schedule management.
• Leverage lessons learned for improved project execution.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of successful delivery of 200-500 million TIC energy projects.
• Bachelor’s degree and Professional Engineering Designation and/or PMP.
• Strong proposal crafting and MS Project skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• Preferably experienced in hydrogen, renewable fuels, and carbon capture.
• Familiarity with lean/agile project management methodologies.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Business acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and change management.
• Leadership experience with teams of 20+ Full time Engineering Staff.
• Proficiency across project phases, from concept to completion.
• Ability to motivate, mentor, and enhance team performance.
