From design build and tenant work in the commercial industry to mission critical projects working on data centres and pharmaceutical projects they cover a wide range of exciting work in the ICI realm.

Your new role

The current role is for an experienced Project Manager to look after tenant fit-out projects in the Greater Toronto Area. This individual will manage the project to ensure they meet corporate goals for safety, quality, budget and schedule while maintaining profitability. They will regularly communicate with the project team, site managers, clients and trades, amongst others to ensure effective coordination of construction activities. Furthermore they will build and lead a strong project team that delivers profitable projects and supervise PM assistants and administrators. This Project Manager will arrange for final city inspection, permits and notice of substantial performance ads. They will track execution and lessons learned and ensure continuous improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful Project Manager candidate will have at least 5 years managing commercial interiors, base build and/or repositioning projects. They will have strong financial knowledge and understanding of construction costs, along with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and make any constructive suggestions for change. They will be able to recognize and manage risk and be able to communicate with strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills. Finally they will be proficient in Microsoft Office suite and project management software.
