Commercial Project Lead Jobs

Coordinating with other stakeholders such as Tax, Finance, Mobility, Legal, Engineering and Project Management, etc.

Coordinating with the sales team as well as the proposal team, corporate management, and the post contract commercial team.

Prior experience working within a Commercial Lead position.

Coordinating with the Pricing team, understanding how commercial strategy impacts pricing, and vice versa.

Understanding Worley’s overarching commercial strategy and ensuring appropriate direction is given prior to, during, and after tendering.

Understand Customer expectations and priorities to achieve mutual agreement and ease Customer relations.

Organization and strong time management skills.

Ensures project team is in compliance with QC and its adherence to contract requirements.

Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering or relevant program.

Strong computer skills, using MS Office, Primavera and AutoCad.

Strong communication skills - oral and written.

Must be able to travel and work away from home as the project’s locations/sites are all over Ontario.

Minimum 15 years of project management experience in major construction projects.

Define project scope and criteria, present options to senior management for approval.

Communicate project updates to management and stakeholders.

Utilize project management tools for documentation and audits.

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent.

Conduct research and report on project requirements, regulations, market trends, and stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is an asset.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Proven experience as a Construction Project Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager within the construction industry.

Proficient in project management software, such as MS Project or Primavera.

Organize and maintain project files, ensuring easy accessibility and compliance with record-keeping requirements.

Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement quality control measures.

Experience in quantity surveying, contract administration, project management and construction supervision services.

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering, or related field.

Support Procurement efforts of consultants, contractors, suppliers, etc. including pre-qualification, tender analysis, tender reports, and recommendations, etc.

Any other duties assigned by the Commercial Manager.

Working knowledge of software typically associated with quantity surveying and contract administration.

Interaction with the project team, client, consultants, subcontractors, etc. as required, in respect of financial and contractual matters.

You have eight (8) to ten (10) years of commercial management experience, ideally including the following:

Day to day management of contracts (prime or sub) including, where necessary, amendments, claims and dispute resolution

Experience in preparing commercial bids or leading Government bid evaluation teams

Experience with export control issues, including CGP and ITAR

A working level knowledge of insurance issues and leasing

7+ years of experience managing commercial interior projects

Leadership abilities to take charge of a project and gain the trust and confidence of the client, landlord and teammates

Advising and coaching other areas of the business on Project Management

Formal project management training (PRINCE2 qualified or equivalent)

Experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Management would be an asset

Following and implementing the IT Project Management Methodology.

Bachelors degree in IT/Computer Science or Logistics/Supply Chain Management or other relevant field

Strong communication and experience working with various stakeholder groups

Developing and executing project plans.
