In order to facilitate this business level initiative, we’re rapidly expanding our capabilities within the offshore wind and power offtakes sector and establishing an offshore wind Centre of Excellence. Green Hydrogen is becoming an integral component of our offer to our customers, due to the difficulties for firm grid access or power curtailments in some regions. Worley’s broader ambitions in the offshore renewable space extend from early-stage concept and feasibility through to delivering full EPC and EPCI packages.


Role: Commercial Lead


Summary


We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Lead to be based out of our Swedish office locations in either Stockholm or Gothenburg. This position will be working closely with the Sales and Worley Management teams, whilst being responsible for developing and coordinating the commercial strategy across numerous projects.


You Will Be Expected To


  • Coordinating with the Pricing team, understanding how commercial strategy impacts pricing, and vice versa.
  • Coordinating with other stakeholders such as Tax, Finance, Mobility, Legal, Engineering and Project Management, etc.
  • Coordinating with the sales team as well as the proposal team, corporate management, and the post contract commercial team.
  • Understanding Worley’s overarching commercial strategy and ensuring appropriate direction is given prior to, during, and after tendering.
  • Understand Customer expectations and priorities to achieve mutual agreement and ease Customer relations.


You’d Love You To Have/be


  • A creative mind able to think around a subject to identify opportunities as well as risks.
  • Familiar with contract terminology.
  • Able to understand the corporate side of commercial strategy (eg. Understand Worley’s risk appetite, expected margins, public messaging etc.)
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of different commercial models.
  • Prior experience working within a Commercial Lead position.
  • A great understand of the contractual side of commercial strategy (eg. Liquidated damages, Warranty periods, Limits of Liability etc.).
  • A detailed understanding of the financial side of Commercial strategy (eg. The pricing methods of different models and the associated risks, tax exposure, etc.).
