Project Manager On behalf of our client in the Government Services Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Project Manager.
Project Manager –

• This role involves coaching and implementing Agile methodology (Scrum) and project management phases for the development and implementation of the solution into Production
• Developing complex project budgets based on multiple funding channels and cross ministry dependencies
• Leading organizational development, strategy development, business planning, and Ministry funding requests
• This position is hybrid and located in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Successful candidates can work remotely; however they may be required to go to the Peterborough office as determined by the project team based on project’s needs
• Coaching and implementing Agile methodology (Scrum) and project management phases for the development and implementation of the solution into Production
• Ensuring project deliverables meet clients’ business requirements on time, scope and budget, with a focus on cost-effectiveness, efficiencies and compliance with project management methodologies and frameworks
• Using appropriate strategies and actions to overcome resistance to change and capitalize on forces in support of change during all stages of projects – concept, definition, planning, implementation and close-out
• Providing, project, program, and/or portfolio reporting to multi-stakeholders at senior executive levels
• Providing project management on large scale, complex, high profile and high-risk projects for I&IT initiatives
• Effectively managing large project budgets and ensuring a high level of fiscal control and accountability including estimates, forecasts and reconciliation/confirmation of actuals
• As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing large scale, complex, high profile and high-risk projects for I&IT initiatives
• You will ensure project deliverables meet clients’ business requirements on time, scope and budget, with a focus on cost-effectiveness, efficiencies and compliance with project management methodologies and frameworks

Project Manager – Mandatory Skills

• Excellent communication skills are required
• Experience and knowledge of the Ontario Digital Service Standard, Ontario Service Design Playbook and the Digital First Assessment product delivery approach (Pre-Discovery, Discovery, Alpha, Beta, Live)
• Experience developing Agile Metrics and managing project schedules, deliverables, and scope
• Candidate must be available to join the team from July 24, 2023
• Experience with DevOps, Microsoft tools such as Visio and Project and Miro boards
• 5+ years of project management experience
• Knowledge and understanding of digital product development, implementation and management
• Experience in Agile, SCRUM. Lean and DevOps methodologies

Project Manager - Nice to Have Skills

• Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices is desirable
• Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards is desirable
• Knowledge and understanding of Project Management’s Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge is desirable
