Job Title: Project Associate Intern
Location: Greater Toronto Area (Remote)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Project Associate Intern to join our team and contribute to our ongoing projects. As a Project Associate Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of various internal and external projects. This is an unpaid internship that offers an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge from industry experts as well as hands-on experience and exposure in project management, team collaboration, and the inner workings of our industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation: Help maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
- Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing project files, and handling correspondence.
- Data Management: Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing project-related data to support decision-making processes.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential project challenges and contribute to the development of solutions to overcome them.
- Research: Conduct research to gather relevant information, data, and best practices to inform project decisions and strategies.
- Project Support: Assist in the coordination and execution of projects, ensuring that tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
- Communication: Collaborate with team members to facilitate effective communication and information sharing among project stakeholders.
- Learning and Development: Actively engage in learning opportunities to enhance your understanding of project management principles and industry practices.
Qualifications:
- Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Basic understanding of project management concepts is a plus.
- Ability to work within a matrix environment
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude toward taking on new tasks and challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Note: This is an unpaid internship position. The duration of the internship can be discussed during the interview process.
