Our Program Specialist with support the Manager of Core Programs in ensuring business unit (BU) priorities are reflected in programmatic and anomaly dig-level plans and resolving Manager-level critical and strategic issues and concerns from across the Business Unit and Stakeholders, to meet priorities and achieve schedule, scope and budget targets safely and reliably.

What You Will Do
You have:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:
Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

What You Will Do
- Raising and resolving dig program and Business Unit issues in partnership with the execution Manager
- Project / Program Management of key or critical projects / programs as required.
- Establishing and maintaining strong, collaborative working relationships with our sponsors and key partners by knowing and understanding their needs and priorities, and engaging and appropriately involving them in decisions and plans that affect them
- Identifying and recommending enhancements to standards and specifications
- Proactively communication with Business Units, including communicating risks and opportunities
- Identifying and analyzing program challenges, problems and process breakdowns and supporting continuous improvement of the processes and practices that bring value.
- Supporting continuous improvement of the safety culture within Enbridge targeting zero incidents
- Acting as a point of contact for the Business Units with a focus on digs, while supporting other Core Programs work types, as needed
- Coordinating with Sponsors and Partners to influence overall scope of digs and how/when they are issued
- Promoting consistency across the company with regards to practices and processes
- Providing strategic solutions to challenges and opportunities by challenging status quo, thinking with the end in mind, influencing and facilitating positive collaboration with the right people to optimize value and continuously improve.
You have:
- 10+ years progressively responsible working experience in the pipeline industry having been exposed to Engineering, Construction and Field Operations including a strong working knowledge of pipeline engineering principles, industry standards, governmental regulations, and complex details and/or project management experience
- A University degree or a combination of construction/operational training and experience along with a valid driver’s license that will be verified upon hire
- Predict obstacles, challenges, and risks to proactively determine mitigation strategies and innovative solutions to problems
- Show familiarity with industry codes, regulations, standards, and specifications as well as have a general understanding of pipeline and terminal operations
- A motivated self-starter who works well independently in a fast-paced environment while also being synergetic and team/service oriented
- An excellent written and verbal communicator with strong problem solving, decision making, organization, planning and leadership skills including the ability influence without direct authority
- Proficient with the MS Office Suite, Oracle, and SAP
- PMP Certification
- Exposure to more than one Engineering field
- Scheduled travel is up to 25% of the time going to Enbridge offices, operating facilities, construction sites and supplier facilities
- Work performed in typical office environment with some required field work
