We are currently looking for a Production Manager to join our team. Interested?

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in a project management role would be considered an asset
• Concise communicator who can work independently and within a team
• Minimum 5 years experience in LEAN Manufacturing (certification is preferred)
• Minimum 5 years experience operating and/or maintaining various CNC equipment (including but not limited to press brakes, lasers, and turret punch)
• Meticulous organizer who continuously improves efficiency and effectiveness to achieve the right results
• Minimum 5 years experience in a leadership role
• Leadership attributes to coach and mentor team members
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and ERP Software: Intuitive
• Adequate knowledge of business and management strategies (budgeting, human resources, resource allocation, etc.)
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Duties & Responsibilities

• Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
• Maintain a positive attitude and culture within the work environment
• Manage materials processing personnel including but not limited to hiring, performance management, and career development
• Material/process flow is maintained, and inventory levels are monitored.
• Respond to any equipment stoppages. Coordinate any equipment repairs/stoppages with the maintenance department.
• Develop and implement LEAN manufacturing strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
• Lead daily morning huddle/Hansei meetings.
• Exemplify company core values in all interactions
• Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
• Evaluating and creating new policies and procedures for effective operations
• Ensuring that production schedules are maintained; delivery deadlines are not missed; standardized work is being followed with quality and safety requirements being achieved.
• Oversee and manage manufactured parts processes ensuring that each production line is supplied with manufactured parts
• Prepare reporting information and attend the weekly Monday morning leadership communication meeting
