Job Summary:

As the Marketing Manager, you will be oversee all marketing activities for Douglas Homes and Douglas Developments. The Marketing Manager is responsible for executing various marketing initiatives, overseeing the Marketing Teams’ efforts, and ensuring effective communication within the Marketing team, the Sales team, and the Design team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide insight and approval for major advertising and creative concepts.
• Oversee social media activity by the marketing team on the various accounts associated with Douglas Homes and Douglas Developments
• Supervise, mentor and provide creative input and feedback on the marketing efforts executed by employees within the marketing team.
• Take the lead on all Marketing Initiatives related to the launch of Douglas Homes newest development project, including tasks such as scheduling, schedule communication, providing builder group support, and overseeing proper preparation and set up for the upcoming event.
• Keep the marketing team informed and organized in relation to show home launch dates, upcoming events and related timelines.
• Set up and manage the work management software board, assigning tasks and ensuring project progress for the showhomes that will be opening
• Providing support for decision making and larger expenditures based on the pre-approved marketing budget.
• Plan out the layout and design of sales centers, including signage, and ensure execution by the team.
• Manage award submissions by assigning tasks and adhering to timelines.

Experience/Knowledge Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
• Proficient in social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with software tools such as Monday.com, Photoshop, and various design tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of industry trends and competitors.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Previous experience in the home building and development/construction industry considered an asset, but not a requirement.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Previous, or transferable experience in Interior Design considered an asset, but not a requirement.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• 3-5 years experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role
