Production Manager - Food Manufacturing Industry

Position: Production Manager

Location: Cambridge, ON

Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 Yearly

Industry: Manufacturing / Food / Industrial / Manager

Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed
• Evaluating, adjusting, and creating new policies and procedures as needed for effective operations
• Overseeing the employee workforce and managing scheduling for maximum workforce efficiency.
• Responsible for the training of staff by providing training and coaching and taking disciplinary steps when needed
• Responsible for standards on food safety, regulations, compliance and ensuring a safe working environment.
• Execute plans to ensure our Compliance with all Federal/Provincial Food Regulations
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Assist in planning the annual plant budgets.

Qualifications & Experience

• Post Secondary education in a related field
• Strong focus on safety with ability to manage QA programs
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Possession of certification in food processing or science a definite asset
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
• 5 – 8 years of experience in a supervisory, role preferably in a food manufacturing setting
