Site Construction Manager – Food Industry Jobs

Post-Secondary education degree/diploma- in business/management/engineering or equivalent.

Strong Financial knowledge, including budgetary management.

Manages all aspects of plant operations ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently.

Stays current on production trends recommends any changes needed for improvement and ensures all requirements are attained.

Computer skills including Word and Excel.

Demonstrated Lean Manufacturing skills including background in a consumer goods environment.

- Monitor operation following established food safety system requirement.

- Report to Department Manager when food safety/quality non-conformance is identified

- Complete minimum 2-year Food Technology, preferably 4-year Food Science or Health Science education.

- Minimum 3 years food manufacturing industry experience.

Exceptional organizational skills, able to prioritize and time management is required.

Other duties as assigned by manager.

Position: Construction Manager- Nuclear Industry

Reading and interpreting building plans, electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring installations.

Cutting, threading, bending, assembling, and installing conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fittings.

Pulling wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.

Post Secondary education in a related field

Possession of certification in food processing or science a definite asset

5 – 8 years of experience in a supervisory, role preferably in a food manufacturing setting

Strong focus on safety with ability to manage QA programs

Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

Responsible for standards on food safety, regulations, compliance and ensuring a safe working environment.

At least seven years of relevant experience, with at least five years of leading and executing field work.

Effective team building and leadership skills to develop collaborative relationships with colleagues and subordinates

Ability to effectively manage change responding to needs as they evolve while maintaining budget and timeline.

Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements, and to work under pressure.

Good writing skills for report development, daily logs, OTOs (Order to Operate), RWPs (Radiological Work Plan) and work plans.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience as an Accountant in the construction industry is preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, industry standards, and relevant regulations in all financial activities.

Develop a continuous improvement process aligned to ISO requirements (supported by management)

Provide management and technical support to team members

Attends project meetings and management meetings

Develop and execute a communication process for Project Managers, Field Managers, Project Coordinators, and the Productivity Leader

Develop and expand internal surveying capabilities

Manages the day-to-day activities of the team

• Making/Packing System good knowledge of Weight, Temperature, Pressure, Level and Flow.

• Experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance, loop checking, modification, upgradation, assessment and troubleshooting for Making System.

BE (Electonics, Instrumentation and control)

• Writing making Recipes in Siemens Software .

• Running Simulations for recipes and routing for approvals.

• Able to support EO projects and provide the support to Team for PC&IS and Programming needs.

• Making/Packing System good knowledge of Weight, Temperature, Pressure, Level and Flow.

Construction Manager Qualifications / Skills:

· Experience in project management for process and utilities installation in a construction environment

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

Onsite Management of the Construction Contractor and Installation Contractors to meet project schedule, specifications and budget
