Job Details:

•Location: 8400 Keele St, Concord, ON

•Regular Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday with occasional overtime required

Daily Tasks:

• Plan and implement continuous improvement projects
• Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance schedules
• Plan, organize, direct, and control daily manufacturing operations
• Manage production schedule and communicate with relevant stakeholders
• Train and mentor staff to meet policy, procedure, and quality requirements
• Other duties as assigned
• Maintain accurate inventory information and place required purchase orders
• Ensure accurate documentation of production efforts and timely creation of reports
• Ensure compliance with assigned duties and company policies and procedures
• Troubleshoot production and material issues as they arise
• Interact with clients to maintain a professional, positive, and cooperative relationship
• Act as the manufacturing subject matter expert in cross-functional and client meetings
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proven experience in managing manufacturing operations, preferably in the mattress or foam product industry
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of health and safety standards and compliance regulations
• Knowledge of mattress production processes, including quilting, sewing, and tape edging, considered assets
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve production and material issues
