Job Description
PRODUCT SUPPORT ANALYST, MARINE SYSTEMS


Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration, Product Design/Development and Software/Product Testing for highly regulated industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace. We are currently seeking a qualified Product Support Analyst, Marine Systems to work on leading edge technology products. The successful candidate for this position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.


Location: Ottawa, ON (Remote)


Responsibilities


  • Prepare, collate and categorize Supplementary Provisioning Technical Documentation.
  • Conduct, contribute and assist in the identification of material resources to support system and subsystem preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Review Maintenance Plans, Preventive or Corrective Maintenance Schedules, and Instructions for the purpose of identifying the necessary materiel resources to conduct the work.
  • Prepare for and participate in Initial Provisioning Conferences with end users and customers.
  • Conduct detailed sparing analysis to determine the optimum quantity and distribution of spares.
  • Review elements of the technical data package to ensure that the technical data reflects the latest system/equipment configuration of the ships, is complete, accurate and consistent across the support solution.
  • Manage the data within a Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR).


Basic Qualifications


  • Must have an Engineering degree or Technologist diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronic, industrial, reliability, Marine or naval engineering.
  • Canadian Red Seal or Military QL5 certification in an approved Marine Trade, included but not limited to Marine Engineering, Plumbing/Black and Gray Water, HVAC, Hydraulic, Controls and/or Refrigeration Systems.
  • Must have above average Microsoft Windows application experience, communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Transport Canada Third-class Engineer, Motor ship or Steamship Certificate of Competency or higher.
  • 5 years experience operating and maintaining ship systems.
  • Must have previous experience working with Logistics Support Analysis application software such as OmegaPS, Reliasoft RAM, and/or Analyzer.
