Product Analyst
Position Reporting To – VP, Product Development
Summary/Objective
The Product Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the pricing data file, item set-up, wire frames, monitoring profitability, and managing the product master. This role requires strong analytical skills and provides insights to optimize product performance. This role will need to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and manage timelines, priorities and expectations.
Essential Functions
· Assist in maintaining the pricing data file, item set-up, wire frames, and the product master (including new item set-ups in STA’s system).
· Be the principal contact in maintaining wire frames for marketing collateral (i.e., Catalogs) throughout the year.
· Work closely with the Product Management team to manage and monitor pricing and profitability to measure price changes across various customers.
· Play a leading role in maintaining a market price file for 2 segment managers on the Product Team.
· Strategic communication to customer around reporting ASN, Sales and other important product related updates to customers.
· Support the sales team in developing product related material for customer presentations.

· Analytical skills: The ability to analyze data and provide insights to optimize product performance
· Project management: The ability to manage timelines, priorities, and expectations in a fast-paced environment
· Cross-functional collaboration: The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals
· Market awareness: Work with various internal tames (Sales, Market Intelligence, R&D) to stay on top of market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
· Communication skills: The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Required Education and Experience
· A Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate degree in Business or Marketing
· 1-2+ years in a product management or related role – experience in Auto and Tires is an added benefit
· Experience with SAP is an asset
· Comfortable across the Microsoft Office Suite – Experience with Excel and PowerPoint required
· Ability to conduct data manipulation, analysis and interpretation, market intelligence gathering
· Comfortable presenting ideas and influencing others through insights-based selling
· A proven team player who seeks to collaborate with others to build ideas and see them through
· Enthusiastic self-starter and able to work with various team members complex and at times ambiguous business issues
Travel
· Up to 20% of travel within Canada and U.S.A. Must possess a valid passport
