Job Description
The Opportunity


The Product Support Specialist will be a key driver in the growth of autonomous vehicles and implementation of projects. This individual will work with sales team to help and achieve annually agreed sales targets. Lead all pre-sale activities including initial pre-qualification calls, site visits with customers, application requirement gathering, proposal development, financial package presentation, and presentation, participation in marketing events (conferences/tradeshows/etc.). Accurately forecast order dates to aide in business planning within CRM. Continual Education on the industry and competition.


The Role


  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of technology solutions at customer facilities and testing/demo locations.
  • Work with Sales Managers and Rep’s to deliver sales results in line with annually agreed and quarterly reviewed metrics. Own the customer experience and continually build the relationship both internal and external stake holders.
  • Report & Update project meeting and status in salesforce and other channels, Present high-level updates to Management as and when required.
  • Confidently and accurately present the robotics solution for our business. As the spokesperson for our robotics organization, it’s important to continually educate yourself on our solution and to stay informed on market trends in mobile robotics and warehouse automation. Be familiar with competitors’ products and solutions to better communicate our strengths to our customers and dealers. Maintain regular communication with the robotics team with regards to the opportunity pipeline and accurately forecast order dates to aide in business planning.
  • Highly adaptable to a busy environment, willingness for continuous learning and development, and contribute & engage in a team environment.
  • Maintain and develop strong vendor relationship
  • Record customer experiences, test results, status updates and share with team.
  • Engage with customer stakeholders and their employees to establish a strong presence as the primary technical resource as and when needed.
  • Attend meetings while on site to keep remote groups informed.
  • Coordinate Wajax Automation projects and visits with customers and local resources.


The Candidate


Education: BS/BA degree, Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Robotics)


Experience: 3-5 years relevant experience, or 8-10 years of relevant experience without degree


Qualifications: Advanced computer skills, interpersonal skills, and technical field experience in the lift truck industry are desired. Robotic intelligence or background (preferred not mandatory). Must be self-motivated to made big picture decisions without direct supervision and should be comfortable speaking in front of larger groups. Time management skills
