ABOUT THE POSITION

Our Product Care Specialist plays an essential role on taking care of our merchandise, training our e-commerce warehouse teams, developing new Zara high quality standards, ensuring our garments and packaging are free of defects, focusing on the product quality control, packing methodologies, trainings and guidelines to offer our customers the best experience, one package at a time.



Care for Product

  • Contributing to building and maintaining a team that is responsible of product care and training within our distribution centres
  • Share product knowledge, inform on new trends and collection arrivals on a weekly basis
  • Ensure adherence to quality process from inbound to outbound operations across shifts, areas and processes
  • Be our Zara ambassador at our distribution centers by incorporating all Zara values in the fulfillment operations (e.g. work environment, product care, quality and image, etc.)
  • Develop and implement trainings on product handling standards and packaging methodologies to deliver a seamless experience to our customers



Operations, Analytics & Projects

  • Responsible for all consumables on hand, including budget management, order placement and definition of safety stocks
  • Responsible of our return reprocessing facilities, ensuring our merchandise come back to our warehouses in optimal conditions
  • Drive productivity across the multiple processes (i.e. packing, processing returns, etc.)
  • Monitor KPI’s, product assessments, testing and continuous improvements
  • Responsible for creating and implementing a daily reporting system with cross-functional data
  • Support the Head of Logistics in conducting analysis to improve decision-making
  • Lead the implementation of new initiatives across our fulfilment centres, including sustainability
  • Follow up the arrival and reoperation processes of product from different origins



PROFILE REQUIRED


  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and rapid change
  • Excellent communication skills – Spanish is an asset
  • Open to regular traveling to Brampton, Toronto, and Vancouver
  • Excellent analytical mindset and accurate reporting
  • Degree in Business Administration
  • Great interpersonal and leadership skills (energetic, strong initiative, self-motivated)
  • Strong customer-centric mindset and outstanding attention to detail
  • Knowledge of warehouse operational processes
  • Experience in the retail, logistics or in the ecommerce industry, with a strong passion for fashion
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
