The Role:


Hi, I’m Jenn Harris, and I’m currently the Director of Logistics at Mejuri, looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our growing team.


As the Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for managing daily logistics execution ensuring we deliver to our customs on-time. Additionally, you will play a key role in identifying opportunities to improve our speed, costs, and reliability across our network, while also working to simplify processes throughout our workflows. You are excited to solve operational problems, while also diving into data to find our next opportunity.

What You'll Do:


  • Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives to simplify processes and improve speed, cost and reliability.
  • Support SOP development and implementation in the logistics area.
  • Support and lead planning and execution of logistics implementation projects such as testing and onboarding new carriers, peak prep and TMS providers.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams to resolve issues and implement new initiatives. Act as escalation point for business key logistics questions/concerns.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to indirect reports in the Logistics team.
  • Build and manage KPIs related to cost, speed and reliability. Conduct deep dives to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with third parties to improve processes and customer experience, including the launch of performance scorecards.
  • Own daily execution across the network including issue resolution, daily KPIs and proactive management of carriers.
  • Work cross-functionally to validate product data including HS codes, country of origin and weight.


What You'll Bring To The Team:


  • Working knowledge of ERP/WMS/TMS software.
  • Experience in supply chain/logistics with a track record of supporting and leading logistics execution and driving operational improvements.
  • Ability to deep dive data and experience with KPIs/metrics.
  • Executional experience, with ability to act with urgency, resolve issues and work with external partners and internal operational teams.
  • Provides effective coaching and training to junior level indirect reports.
  • Passion for problem solving and continuous improvement mind-set.
  • Experience supporting or managing projects.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and results oriented.
  • Experience conducting analysis and identifying insights and opportunities.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and balance business needs.



Things We Consider An Asset:


  • SQL or ability to learn (or similar skill set for data deep dives).
  • Experience with shipping software platforms
  • Lean Six Sigma exposure or continuous improvement exposure is a plus
  • Familiar with GSuite, Fulfil.io, Customs regulations,

  • Training and direction of logistics associates and temporary hires
  • Continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. workflow simplification etc, reliability improvements)
  • On-time deliveries
  • $/Shipment
  • Development and management of KPIs
