Permit Coordinator Jobs

Responsibilities:

· Obtain transportation permits, North America wide

· Organizing pilot, pole cars and escorts

· Efficiently track job costs and credit card charges

· Effectively communicating with Project Manager, Dispatchers and Drivers

· Preparing and updating fleet units with all pertinent information, authorities and certificates

Skills and Abilities:

· Detail oriented

· Ability to read and understand route maps

· Understanding and planning routing for Oversize Overweight loads

· Effective communicator, both written and verbal (English)

· Ability to multi-task is imperative

· Ability to investigate & search out information and solutions

· Self-motivated & self-starter

· Excellent team player with ability to work independently

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment

· MS Office (Excel, Word & Outlook) proficiency

· Ability to work well under pressure and deal with stressful situations with tact and professionalism.

· Ability to establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with external customers and internal departments.

Knowledge:

· High school graduate

• Previous experience in the transportation industry required
