Westgen Technologies, soon to be Convrg Innovations, is on the hunt for a dynamic People and Culture Advisor to become a vital member of our expanding team. If you're passionate about fostering vibrant work cultures and driving people-centric strategies, then keep reading!


What You'll Do:


Culture Building: Develop and implement initiatives to cultivate an engaging, inclusive, and thriving company culture. Coordinate events, workshops, and activities that encourage team bonding and celebrate company milestones.


Talent Management: Drive talent strategies to attract, develop, and retain top-tier talent. This includes overseeing the onboarding process to ensure a seamless integration of new hires and managing talent development programs that cater to both the professional and personal growth of our employees.


Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries. Address and resolve employee relations issues and provide solutions to ensure a harmonious workplace. Implement strategies to reduce turnover and increase employee satisfaction.


Performance Management: Oversee our performance review process, ensuring it's transparent, fair, and constructive. Provide training to managers on providing feedback and recognizing employee achievements.


Learning and Development: Identify knowledge gaps and organize training sessions for staff. Foster a culture of continuous learning and personal development.


Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Champion our values by implementing and overseeing DEI initiatives. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of these strategies, ensuring our workplace remains diverse and inclusive.


HR Compliance: Stay up to date with the latest HR trends and employment legislation to ensure our practices and policies are compliant.


Benefits Administration and Management: Oversee the rollout of new benefits programs and manage the day-to-day operations of existing ones. Ensure all benefits-related processes, from enrollment to claims processing, are efficient and user-friendly.


Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management: Collaborating with the Health and Safety Specialist to ensure we foster a culture of safety, ensuring that every employee understands and prioritizes their own safety and the safety of their colleagues. Drive initiatives that promote and celebrate safe workplace behavior. Support the development and implementation of return-to-work programs that supports employees transitioning back to the workplace after illness, injury, or extended leaves.


What We're Looking For:


  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Proven experience in HR, People Operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of employment legislation and organizational behavior.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or diploma in a related field.
