Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR and Payroll Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As an HR and Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our human resources and payroll processes. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of HR principles, payroll management, and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
• Maintain employee records, including personal information, attendance, leaves, and benefits.
• Process new hires, terminations, and employment status changes in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payment disbursement.
• Performance Reviews and EOS
• Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
• Provide HR support in recruitment and onboarding processes when necessary.
• Ensure data confidentiality and maintain the highest level of professionalism in handling sensitive HR and payroll information.
• Oversee timekeeping systems and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with labor laws, taxation regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure payroll accuracy and legal adherence.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to reconcile payroll-related accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and maintain compliance.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with utmost discretion.
• Proven experience as an HR and Payroll Specialist or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Solid understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and labor laws.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficient in using payroll management software and HRIS systems.

Working Hours: This is a part-time position, with approximately 25-32 hours per week. Working hours can be flexible and will be determined in collaboration with the candidate.

Compensation: $25-$32 /hr
