Job Description

Kipling Group is a full service, multifaceted real estate management organization, catering to large institutional clients, private equity funds and high net worth individuals.Kipling offers customized commercial and residential property management service to address the needs of our diverse clientele and provide well executed strategies that offer value for tenants an residents.

Reporting to the Manager of Marketing, the Marketing & Event Coordinator supports Kipling’s multi-family, condo, leasing and marketing teams and will be responsible for the day-to-day brand management of Kipling in general. This role creates new content for all marketing platforms, executes promotional campaigns, monitors and reports on analytics, contributes to the development of marketing plans, and leverages research to keep Kipling at the forefront of the industry.

This is a full-time, permanent and on-site position based out of Kipling’s head office with regular business hours.

Responsibilities

Property Level

  • Support our multi-family clients, attend meetings, create presentations, and collaborate in a professional manner and attitude
  • Research competitor properties and their advertisements, improve overall market knowledge
  • Review advertisements, pricing, telephone numbers, website info, signage etc.
  • Manage Rentcafe, Property Vista, LeadManaging, Google My Business and Rentsync portals
  • Support and collaborate with leasing team to reduce vacancies
  • Refresh online ads, update content, improve marketing campaigns to drive leasing
  • Plan and execute resident / tenant events and programming at each property
  • Tour properties quarterly and make recommendations on signage, uniforms, branding opportunities, events, etc.
  • Post and manage on Kipling and individual property social media accounts

Corporate

  • Ensure all communications are aesthetically pleasing and follow brand guidelines
  • Proactively provide suggestions on how to improve corporate branding and better ways to market the company
  • Manage and update Kipling’s websites, create news content
  • Approach tasks with an ESG mindset – encourage sustainability and social responsibility, monitor and track events, take and store photos.
  • Assist leadership team in ad hoc requests
  • Manage Kipling’s social media on a weekly basis

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following background:

  • Proven analytical, research and report writing skills
  • Highly organized and self-starter individual
  • University degree or college diploma (business, marketing or related field)
  • 1 to 2 years marketing experience
  • Familiar with social media and review platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal skills, presentations)
  • Creative and innovate
  • Previous real estate experience preferred
