About Our Client
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Low-Rise Rough Superintendent to oversee the construction of townhouses in Barrie, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rough construction and a proven track record of success in managing townhouse construction projects.

• Work closely with the project manager, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that construction plans are followed and completed on time and within budget.
• Oversee and manage all aspects of the rough construction process for townhouses, including framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other rough trades.
• Supervise and train on-site personnel, including subcontractors, to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the construction team to ensure that the project runs smoothly and meets all project goals and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with all building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints, and provide regular progress reports to the project manager.

The Successful Applicant

• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
• Experience with project management software and tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• At least 5 years of experience in rough construction for townhouse construction.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
