What You’ll Do

It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

• Prioritize and organize the design and development of all leadership, operational, technical training and performance support initiatives, including Train-the-Trainer support as required
• Contribute to the L&D Management team to leverage learning solutions, while ensuring alignment to business priorities and preventing duplication
• Lead special projects, through subject matter experts and/or client group
• This position is responsible for leading and developing a team of Specialists to design performance-driven learning solutions. It is accountable for L&D workflow management and ensuring overall solution quality, as well as ensuring the effectiveness of training programs and updating them as necessary
• Oversee and/or conduct the development of tools and processes to evaluate and assess the delivery and effectiveness of all solutions
• Facilitate training programs for multiple levels of management, as required
• Ensure all solutions support TJX Canada’s culture, Leadership Competencies and Cultural Factors, applicable operating procedures and compliance requirements

What You’ll Need

To begin your career with us, we require the following:

• Experienced and certified in instructional design, facilitation and adult learning principles
• Passion and strong belief in continuous learning
• Strong leadership skills, with focus on coaching, mentoring and active listening. Strong team orientation with focus on team success. Willing and able to support other team members
• 7-10 years’ experience in Learning & Development, specifically leading teams and designing management and leadership development programs, OR equivalent Human Resources experience
• Strong project and time management skills, with proven ability to lead many projects and teams concurrently
