Learning Design Consultant Jobs

Experience selling in a retail environment, including commission-based sales with the ability to continuously meet selling objectives

You have strong group facilitation and presentation skills at all levels

You have proficient knowledge of MS Office software applications

If you have experience in the professional services industry, it will be considered an asset

Post-secondary education in Adult Education, User Experience (UX) Design, Learning Technology, or equivalent experience.

Experience with higher education administration and academics

Minimum four years’ relevant experience working with learning technology and LMS

Experience with Moodle an asset

Evaluate LMS features and functionality and make recommendations

Evaluate academic materials, grading rubrics, student manuals and make recommendations

Knowledge of Human/User Centred Design (Design Thinking) principles and approaches

Experience in working with clients to take projects from problem identification to potential solution/s

Experience working with User Interface designers/developers is a plus

Facilitate ideation, prioritization and solution/s definition

Use qualitative and quantitative research methods to support the design process

Maintain and coordinate supporting systems including the learning management system, learning paths and training.

Adult Education or Training & Development certificate or relevant work experience

Consult and collaborate with subject matter experts to identify the core content and workflow knowledge for curriculum development.

Experience in a retail Pharmacy environment an asset

Experience with building or delivering blended learning solutions (i.e. online learning & virtual learning)
