The Leader will identify and develop opportunities to strengthen and expand RoundGlass client base, driving revenue by identifying prospects, and long-term partnerships. The individual has to set a strategic business development plan for target markets and define Go-To-Market, working with Product and Marketing teams to enable the adoption and engagement of solutions through growth hacks and low-cost solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and enhance the company's competitive advantage
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and meet sales targets
- Manage key business development initiatives including new customer acquisition and existing relationships with consumers
- Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the sales department's budget, ensuring resource allocation aligns with business priorities
- Oversee the customer service team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery and adherence to established procedures
- Collaborate with internal marketing teams to drive a focused approach on sales enablement strategy
- Define and prioritize the market segments, customer base, and targeted industry verticals; Setting a strategic sales roadmap for target markets and ensuring it is aligned with the organization’s strategic direction
- Collaborate with the executive team to create and execute effective sales strategies that align with the overall business objectives. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
- Develop and implement a customer service strategy that emphasizes prompt and effective issue resolution, leading to high customer retention rates
- Create a robust channel network, alliances and partnerships for selling RG products to customers
- Work closely with customers to ensure they are successful using RG products and taking regular feedback on product features and improvements, sharing the feedback with internal stakeholders to inform product improvement and efficiency
- Discuss progress of sales strategy and any roadblocks faced with the leadership team on a regular basis
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and drive improvements
- Familiarity with CRM software, sales tools, and customer service platforms
- Knowledge of the industry's regulations, market trends, and best practices
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to perform at their best
- Master’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, or a related field with 18+ years of strong sales and business development experience, preferably of a technology product or solution
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Proven experience in sales and customer service management, with a successful track record of achieving sales targets and improving customer satisfaction in SaaS organisations of global scale & repute
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
