We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Financial Services to join our client's dynamic team. This professional services company is a growing organization that provides on-demand financial expertise and leadership to help drive their clients' financial success.
Job Summary
As the Director, Financial Services, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our client financial operations and providing strategic guidance to those organizations. You will work closely with owners, CEO's, senior management, and other key stakeholders to develop and execute financial strategies, optimize financial performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Financial Operations: Oversee accounting, financial operations, and billing processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Mergers and Acquisitions: Provide financial analysis and due diligence support for potential mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
• Financial Planning and Analysis: Create and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making and drive financial performance.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and financial dashboards.
• Tax Planning and Compliance: Collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax planning strategies.
• Strategic Decision Support: Analyze financial data, market trends, and business opportunities to provide strategic insights and recommendations to the executive team.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks by implementing effective internal controls and monitoring systems.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor finance and accounting teams, providing guidance and support for professional growth.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and optimize cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations and future growth.
• Funding and Investor Relations: Support fundraising efforts, manage relationships with investors, and provide financial insights for investment decisions.

Requirements
Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and remotely, managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with systems and evolving technology
• In-depth understanding of financial operations, internal controls, and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• CPA designation, including a background originally in public practice
• Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or in a senior financial leadership role.
