Job Description

Insurance Insight Inc. (Formerly WALKAWAY Canada Inc.), is headquartered in Oakville, Ontario and is an insurance brokerage specializing in providing automotive manufacturers and dealerships in North America and around the world with high-quality insurance-based products and technology solutions. As the exclusive provider of WALKAWAY products and services, we specialize in large national automobile after-market products, such as creditors insurance and GAP insurance that enable a minimum amount of administration, with maximum amount of return.


We are currently recruiting for a District Sales Representative for Alberta and the ideal candidate would be based out of the Calgary-Edmonton corridor. Reporting to the Vice President of National Business Development, this position is responsible for generating revenue and volume targets by promoting WALKAWAY F&I solutions to both new and existing accounts using consultative sales techniques. This position serves as the primary business contact for assigned clients and is responsible for maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge, consistently providing excellent customer service, ensuring that customers' needs are exceeded and satisfaction levels are high.

The District Sales Representative will work with high revenue customers where superior sales, marketing and presentation skills are required for success.


Responsibilities

● Develops customer accounts to achieve revenue and volume targets and sales objectives by proactively gathering and analyzing information to identify sales opportunities, developing and executing territory plans, effectively promoting and selling the product portfolio and by providing high levels of customer service to exceed customer expectations.

● Focuses on the achievement of customer satisfaction and revenue generation within existing assignments, and long-term account development goals in line with Insurance Insight Inc.’s vision.

● Prepares business presentations and complete corporate profiles; designs and implements sales strategies and analyses and responds to competitive presence.

● Effectively prepares prior to calling on customers; conducts effective needs assessment and designs proposals to address the customer's specific needs and maximize business potential.

● Discusses F&I and marketing needs with customers; understands and promotes Insurance Insight Inc.’s products and services relevant to each customer and in relation to the customer's own business objectives.

● Understanding customer's needs and wants to create a strong value proposition over and above a product based selling approach; demonstrates a continued personal concern for the customer demonstrating the value of partnering with Insurance Insight Inc.

● Responsible for all client communications, training, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue; ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner while maintaining excellent customer relations and balancing what’s in the best interest of Insurance Insight Inc.; responds to client's needs with a sense of urgency.

● Maintains strong knowledge of new and existing Insurance Insight Inc. product offerings as well as new products in the market, industry trends and new developments; understands current competitive conditions within the marketplace.

● Logs all activities pertaining to prospective and existing accounts in our CRM. Participates in our monthly sales sprints/scrum

● Prepares a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, KPI's and adherence to goals/targets.

● Presents and negotiates agreements with clients; prepares and signs client contracts.

● Ensures all documentation and reports are complete, accurate and submitted to other departments within assigned timelines, engaging the assistance of Sales and Dealer Support when required

● Completes an annual Sales planner to ensure penetration of assigned territory and maintenance of existing client revenue base; proactively calls on existing accounts; identifies correct priorities and schedules sales calls accordingly.

● Spends most of his/her time out of the office, with clients, and works at penetrating, controlling and retaining these accounts.


Qualifications

Post-secondary degree in Business/Marketing or General Arts discipline.

Minimum 5 years direct sales (B2B) experience to automotive/insurance accounts.

Proven consistency in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Effective team player with strong communication skills and a drive for results.

Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize; sense of urgency.

Problem solving and analytical skill; resourceful.

Strong closing techniques; using logical, incremental steps approach.

Intermediate computer skills using Google Apps.

Overnight travel is required.
