Job Description

We are searching for Inside Sales person for a Wire & Cable team. With a focus on Wire & Cable, you will primarily be responsible for growing and supporting our wire and cable business across all branches. You will manage assigned accounts and act as key contact for all activities with those accounts. You will work with customers on sourcing, pricing and availability of material.


Our client is a Business-to-Business (B2B) distribution of electrical products, automation, lighting solutions and more. Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Provide quotations, pricing and product availability to customers
  • Assisting customers with identifying the specific product they are looking for based on their requirements and suggesting alternatives if required and/or up-selling of related products.
  • Provide technical, application and sales support
  • Ensure CRM is updated for key accounts
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads and proactive cold calls
  • From time to time, a customer site visit may be required
  • Passionately helping customers be more successful by delivering exceptional experiences
  • Receiving and entering orders
  • Proactively staying in regular communications with your client base to drive business and updating them on availability of material


About you

  • Outbound sales experience
  • Experience with Inventory Systems and CRMs
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • 3 years (min) Electrical/Wire supplies experience
  • Post-secondary education in an Electrical related discipline
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
