Wire Edm Operator/Programmer

Right Start Employment is seeking highly skilled EDM Wire Operator to join our team. Our client, a leading manufacturer is actively looking to hire for a lead EDM Wire Technician/Operator. This position will require you to set up and operate the EDM machine. This is a full-time opportunity, based in Brampton, ON.

Candidates will be tested during the interview process at our clients facility on how you set up, program and operate the EDM machine.

The right candidate will be working Monday to Friday.

Shift Time: 7:30am -4pm

Pay: $36/hr

This is a temporary to permanent position.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Programming Wire EDM machines
• Interpolate SOLIDS data in Mastercam;
• Schedule jobs to maximize efficiency throughout shift.
• Set-Up and operate Wire EDM machines with minimal supervision;
• Collaborate with co-workers;

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of CAD/CAM Knowledge of Mastercam is an asset)
• Proficient in interpolating SOLIDS data in Mastercam;
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of Wire EDM, set up, and operating experience;
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Sound understanding of GD&T;
