The Plant Controller's responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

• Responsible for all accounting operations for the plant such as AP, AR and General Ledger.
• Preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and month-end close
• Work with the teams to ensure that the cost accounting is accurate which includes BOMs and labour costs
• Manage the inventory
• Preparation of financial statements, income statements, balance sheet and cash flow statements for the plant
• Act as a key member for the office to assist with HR, Payroll and other required office administration
• Identify manufacturing variances as well as the profit and loss

The Successful Applicant

• 10 years' experience
• Experience within the manufacturing industry is essential
• Accounting Degree
• Cost accounting experience is key
