Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Infrastructure Systems Administrator for a company that makes software solutions for museums, libraries, archives and schools. This person will be part of the team managing IT services as well as being the focal point for the client's data center in North America to ensure that they have excellent operational resilience and high-quality customer delivery.

Must Haves:

  • MS SQL Server
  • AWS or cloud
  • Experience maintaining infrastructural services primarily using opensource solutions (ie. DNS, monitoring, backups, storage systems, load balancers).
  • Other Hypervisors (eg. VMware, Nutanix)
  • Kubernetes / Linux Containers / Docker
  • Minimum 3 years IT operations experience
  • Basic understanding of Git
  • Ability to generate technical documentation to stakeholders with different levels of knowledge
  • Experience with one orchestration tool (Puppet, Ansible, or similar)
  • Experience as a Linux admin preferably with focus on running Linux as a hypervisor (KVM)
