Reporting to the Director of IT, we are looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the performance of our computer systems, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and ensuring that all systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems administration and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords
- Manage and perform regular system maintenance
- Develop, monitor, and maintain computer systems and networks
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
- Install and configure software, hardware, and networks
- Troubleshoot system and network problems
- Provide technical support to end users
Qualification Requirements:
-Minimum of 5 years’ experience as systems administrator, with experience in:
oWindows server administration
§Domain configuration and management
·AD setup
·GP maintenance
·Multi-tenant domains
oManaged network design and maintenance
§SDN systems
§VLANs
§VPNs
·IPSec, OpenVPN
oMicrosoft 365 platform
oGoogle Suite platform
oLinux
§LAMP servers
§LDAP configuration and maintenance
oFreeBSD
§ZFS file systems
oiOS/iPadOS
oNetwork and domain security
oSetting up and maintaining end user training programs
§Create and maintain documentation for non-technical users
oEnd user support
§Setting up new hardware & software
§Troubleshooting as required
oMDM system experience preferred
oPBX experience preferred
oWorking with suppliers, vendors and clients such as
§Hardware, software, and services
§Mobility providers
§ISPs
Additional requirements:
- In-person, onsite position at Winnipeg head office and branch office
- Eligible to travel to US for training & conferences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid MB driver’s licence & reliable vehicle
- Eligible to work in Canada
The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 per year depending on qualifications and experience.
