Windows Server Knowledge Configuration of NTP, roles/features management, basic hardware level issues, server decommissioning.

Wireless Knowledge of Aruba Cloud or other cloud based wireless management platforms, SSID Management & troubeshooting, SSID VLAN tagging.

Desktop Remote Support, Cloning & imaging workstations, Domain Joining, User profile troubleshooting, Group Policy Support, Software management and deployment.

Printers Adding to server or workstation, driver management. Create/deploy/manage PrinterLogic printer cloud technology.

Acting as a trusted advisor to management and a mentor to System Administrators on the team.

A good working knowledge of networking concepts and technologies. Cisco and/or Fortinet skills are a strong asset.

SCCM & Intune/Endpoint Manager experience – image deployment, device/software deployment and managing patch cycles

Provide on site and remote technical support including on-call after hours

Monitor security vulnerabilities for the protection of computer systems, networks and data, respond to any threats.

5+ years experience as an IT Systems Administrator

Virtualization experience ie. VMWare or Hyper-V

● Excellent knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy management.

● Experience in a large-scale (2000+ VMs) environment with Linux, Windows and VMWare ESXi 6+.

● Hands-on (production) experience in any Cloud provider (Google

● Solid networking knowledge (OSI Layers, well-known protocols)

● Strong documentation and presentation skills.

● Eager to learn new skills and develop new techniques

Post-secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related field

Providing first and second level technical support of current information systems locally and remotely. This includes:

Overseeing network security and remote access technologies including VPN, Active Sync, and network firewalls/security appliances

Five (5) or more years’ experience working in Help Desk support, PC hardware, software, and network administration

Well versed in scripting and automation skills

Linux and CISSP certifications are assets

Post-Secondary degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study. An acceptable combination of education and experience will be considered.

3+ years of experience as a Server Admin with Microsoft Products (Windows Server, Exchange)

Experience with Vmware, Citrix and Veeam an asset.

Strong communication and customer service skills

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Plans ahead for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system growth

· IT Service Management, with ITIL v3 or above considered as an asset

· Have an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Possess an equivalent Technology diploma with five years of related experience; AND

· Hold a relevant technology certification, such as CompTIA and/or CIPS designations; OR

· Our ideal candidate will possess expertise in the following areas:
