Information Technology Support Specialist

I'm currently looking for a Systems Administrator in Toronto, Canada with the following job description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans
- Proactively manage & Implement best practice strategy for windows-based virtual server configurations, network infrastructures & firewall systems
- Design, install and configure internal and customer facing servers, network devices and firewalls
- Configure secure virtual networks as per requirements utilizing best practices and standards, equipment standards, naming conventions Interface with various stakeholders regarding project, implementation and operations issues
- Liaison and Implement integrated solution at client locations on-site and remotely (50/50)
- Develop configuration, backups, monitoring automated processes and documentation.
- Automation and administration of backup and recovery environments for customers
- Cloud and virtual environment, Hyper-V and VMWare infrastructure
- Automated system management and security of Windows servers ensuring maximum system availability and performance.
- Research, design and implement Microsoft services/servers and software solutions for business needs.
- Cloud storage utilization and understanding of what is connected to the environment
- Manage and report project-time accurately as per the assignment system
- Responsible for the administration and support of day to day operations of the corporate LAN/Microsoft server environment consisting of security and optimization.
- Administration of Microsoft domain services including Azure AD, ADFS, SAML, SSO, Active Directory, GPO, user accounts, shares, security permissions, DHCP, DNS
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree/diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired
- Ideal candidate will have worked in Managed Services or Consultative environments
- Demonstrated Powershell automation and monitoring scripting with effective code reuse and code manageability
- Working Experience & Knowledge of the following:
*Microsoft SQL Server 2014 or higher
*ERP data migration experience
*Data mapping experience
*Network design and architecture
*Networking devices, firewalls & security protocols
*Configuring and supporting MS technologies
*SAN technology and how it aligns with the customer’s IT environment
*Proven proficiency with documentation; desk level procedures, technology diagrams & schematics
*Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2016/2019) /desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10)
*Managing in excess of 50+ Windows Server infrastructure
*Managing deployments/rollouts
*Managing large scale web deployment
*Managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESX or Microsoft HyperV/Virtual Server
*A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking including optimization and security
*Microsoft Certified Solutions Export
*Group Policy design and configuration
*Microsoft IIS administration and configuration
*Office 365; Administration, Exchange, Policies
*Azure AD Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration
*Ability to troubleshoot network issues including back bone infrastructure issues
