Hr Generalist – Mississauga (On-Site)

Our Client located in Mississauga is currently looking for an HR Generalist supporting one of their Plant. This role requires HR to be on-site.

This role would be the primary HR contributor across all HR administrative functions supporting the Mississauga location.

Responsibilities

• Influence Site management to enhance leadership skills.
• Works with managers and employees to address employee relations issues of all types, ensuring that the interests of all parties are represented in a fair and balanced manner.
• Hosts, communicates, and/or supports company initiatives in one-on-one and/or group training sessions as appropriate.
• Manage the tactical day-to-day Human Resources operations as well as providing oversight for initiatives such as scheduling/rosters, cross training, D&I initiatives such as forming and overseeing Employee Resource Groups to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.
• Responsible for supporting all human resource functions including providing support and guidance to the site management and team members ensuring a positive work environment that emphasizes safety, quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.

Requirements

• Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Requires a Bachelors degree or an equivalent in Human Resources, Business Management or Industrial Engineering
• Experience working in a complex, evolving and fast paced environments.
• Experience with hourly workforce in a distribution, manufacturing or services environment is must.
• Must have critical thinking and employee-customer service orientation.
• Functional knowledge of employment standards is required.
