As a Director, you will play a significant role in driving our growth, directing or managing projects and providing mentorship and coaching to less experienced consultants. A snapshot of the work we do:

Nous has worked with all levels of governments and has been considered a trusted partner to inform, shape and evaluate influential policies and initiatives. Examples of recent work have included developing a ten-year health workforce plan to develop a diverse and future ready workforce (including rural and remote communities), digitizing the paramedic experience, and working with a consortium of hospitals, universities and colleges to improve their clinical placement process.

You are:

• Knowledgeable in provincial and national health system policies, structures, funding mechanisms and models of care with specific expertise of the Ontario landscape.
• Passionate and driven about delivering ideas that matter and creates positive influence in an environment that values diversity and thrives on creativity
• Well connected with key healthcare stakeholders including those within provincial and local governments, hospitals and community health agencies
• A strong contributor: you bring active and early contributions to the thinking, writing and quality of compelling client deliverables
• Innovative: Keeping abreast of the latest developments in your areas of expertise and contributing to their implementation on projects to support innovation

And the practical experience:

• Commercial mindset, understanding/experience of business challenges
• Effective relationship manager
• Ability to produce high-quality client materials in a short period of time
• Extensive work experience in a related role
• Ability to interpret data into actionable insights
• Understanding of health system databases and funding formulae
• Effective project management of medium-large and complex projects & programs concurrently, with project direction of smaller projects
• Substantial expertise and experience in Nous' sectors and capability areas, with a specific focus on healthcare and government (look at our work at nousgroup.com/ca to learn more)
