My Client is a reputable Law Firm with a great working environment and culture. They are currently looking to add an Assistant Director of Law Clerks and Paralegals to their team. You will collaborate with Law Clerks, Directors and Managers within the firm regarding establishing and improving Student programs, mentorship programs and developing policies and procedures. This opportunity is based out of a Downtown Toronto office location and is a hybrid remote working role (two days per week in office).
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Policies and Procedures: Development and maintenance of policies and procedures.
- Student Program: Develop and maintain paralegal and law clerk student program, including identifying key institutions, researching provincial internship requirements and building relationships with program coordinators.
- Learning and Development: Establish learning and development program utilizing firm’s learning management platform, including onboarding and ongoing curriculum.
- Mentorship Program: Redesign and maintain paralegal and law clerk mentorship program.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgement
- Paralegal or law clerk accreditation or university degree
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- 10+ years of experience at a law firm, ideally in a paralegal or law clerk role
