With teams based in Toronto and San Francisco (current headcount 14, growing to 20+ by EOY), the company is growing quickly ($1M ARR in revenue, 500% growth in 2022) and is under dedicated leadership. All goals have been achieved capital efficiently, currently with 3+ years of runway.
The Role
Our sales team hits it out of the park every time someone new is introduced to Accord and how it can help them create a repeatable process for 10/10 deal execution across the entire customer journey.
As we strengthen our marketing muscle, this is an exciting time to join the team! We are investing in getting the word out about Accord to create more “at bats” and continue our phenomenal growth.
And that’s where you come in. We have strong content and positioning that we need to amplify with the right channel and distribution mix to reach a wider audience. But we also need to marry our 1:many channels with a laser-focused approach to get in front of and build relationships with key decision-makers at our top accounts. You have broad experience across demand gen but really get excited about bringing in big logos and experimenting with non-traditional channels to stand out in a crowded market.
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will lead our demand gen strategy, supported by a Growth Marketer and Content Marketer, as well as a very collaborative cross-functional team, and regular mentorship from the VP of Marketing during their leave. Your role will focus on defining and executing our enterprise marketing strategy through Account Based Marketing (ABM), strategic partnerships, targeted events, and other creative tactics.

You will
- Partner closely with sales and customer success to target key enterprise accounts and move them from warm contact, to opportunity, to customer.
- Identify events and creative ways for us to engage our target accounts in-person and virtually.
- Develop partnerships for co-marketing opportunities.
- Create an enterprise-focused strategy to reach our key accounts and build relationships with our target decision-makers (VP+ revenue leaders).
- Manage a small but mighty team of two (Growth and Content Marketers) as well as freelancers and agencies.
- Provide weekly reporting and insights to leadership and cross-company stakeholders.
- Lead and execute an omnichannel demand-gen strategy.
Who we're looking for
- You are looking for an opportunity to be strategic and build out the enterprise demand-gen playbook vs. relying on executing an established playbook.
- You care about leveraging resources efficiently and effectively to generate ROI from the strategic bets we place.
- You enjoy working collaboratively with a small cross-functional team in a startup environment
- You have experience targeting enterprise accounts and running an ABM strategy.
- You’ve owned a specific metric such as MQLs, opportunities, pipeline or revenue.
- 8+ years of marketing experience with 3+ years in a director-level role executing B2B demand gen across key channels for a SaaS company.
- You are passionate that we win as a coordinated team and care deeply about providing value at every interaction for our customers.
- Bonus if you have experience with HubSpot.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment is required.
