About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Head of Content will spearhead the Content Team, supervising the complete lifecycle of content creation, from conceptualization to distribution across Searcheye’s vast network of publishing partners. The role encompasses managing the production of engaging, high-quality written content and overseeing the relationships and operations within Searcheye’s publishing partner network.
Hybrid In-Office / Remote
This is a hybrid in-office / remote role, and the selected candidate will be expected to work from our office a minimum of 3 days / week.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise relationships with external partners like agencies and freelancers contributing to content creation and PR activities.
- Produce content depending on workload and team capacity.
- Interact with and strengthen Searcheye’s publisher partner relationships.
- Collaborate closely with other teams and departments, such as Outreach, Fulfillment, Product, and Customer Success.
- Manage Searcheye’s editorial calendar for 3rd party publishing partners.
- Drive strategic initiatives to improve engagement levels of 3rd party publishing partners.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in content marketing, including new content formats, distribution channels, and best practices.
- Build and lead the content team, ensuring the production of high-quality content that aligns with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in content strategy and storytelling.
- Efficient time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and optimizing content team structure and processes.
- Proven track record of creating successful content programs in B2B settings.
- Strong leadership skills and previous experience managing a team.
- Deep understanding of content marketing and SEO, with experience in data-driven content marketing and content performance metrics.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a content management role.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with perfect spoken and written English.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and learn from failures.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience in external communications and PR.
- Experience working with offshore teams (desirable).
- Experience working in a newsroom or as a journalist.
