Job Description
: We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Head of AI to spearhead our Innovation hub dedicated to harnessing the power of artificial intelligence to transform our business operations. As the Head of AI, you will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities for AI implementation, leading AI initiatives, and guiding our team of experts in developing practical and impactful solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the Center of Excellence that aligns with the organizations overall business objectives. Champion AI-driven initiatives across various departments to drive innovation and enhance efficiency.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay at the forefront of AI research and innovation, identifying new opportunities and potential partnerships to enhance our AI capabilities.
  • Hands-on Expertise: Possess strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in AI and machine learning. Be well-versed in the latest AI trends, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve the CoEs capabilities.
  • AI Solution Development: Create and a team of AI enthusiasts to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions that address specific business challenges and opportunities. Ensure the solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with the organizations needs.
  • Business Impact: Demonstrate a deep understanding of how AI can drive tangible business outcomes. Engage with senior leadership to present and articulate the benefits of AI adoption across the organization.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand business needs and propose AI-driven solutions that optimize processes and drive growth.


Requirements:


  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus.
  • Experience within the insurance or financial services industry is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Solid technical expertise in AI programming languages (Python, R, etc.) and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
  • Proven experience (at least 8-10 years) in AI and machine learning, with a track record of leading successful AI projects and delivering tangible business impact.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and guide a team of AI experts.
