Head Of Production Jobs

Overview:

Secret City is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Production to join our team. As the Head of Production, you will provide visionary leadership, driving the execution and delivery of a multitude of our projects. In this role you’ll oversee the production team, consisting ofproducers, builders, marketing specialists, content creators and production contractors, ensuring that our experiences are not just immersive but also impeccably produced and effectively marketed. The Head of Production will report directly to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities

• Provide input on overall marketing strategy including campaigns, promotional events, and other visibility initiatives.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Conduct Performance Reviews and contract renewal check-ins
• Oversee the complete life cycle of projects, from conception to completion.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize workflows and processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that design, build, and marketing efforts align seamlessly.
• Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for projects.
• Stakeholder Communication:
• Ensure smooth transition between design and production phases and production and operational phases.
• Provide Post-Production reports, including budget resolutions and key learnings
• Ensure all team members have clear objectives, receive regular feedback, and undergo continuous professional development.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of Producers, Studio Builders, Content Creators and Marketing Specialist.
• Budget and Resource Management:
• Manage and approve content calendars, content strategy, and production briefs

• Team Management and Development:
• Chair team meetings, oversee organization wide processes and milestones
• Production Management:
• Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during production.
• Drive recruitment, hiring, and training initiatives as needed.
• Lead the production strategy in line with the studio’s vision, ensuring that our work is innovative, on-brand, and market-leading.
• Work closely with the marketing specialist to ensure that branding development are achieved at the highest quality, on time and within budget.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the production phase.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.
• Proven track record of successfully overseeing large-scale projects from conception to completion.
• Background in Project Management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Live Experience production, Film/Television Production, or Theatre/Events Production design production, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• A passion for innovative design and a keen eye for detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Production, Design, Business or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
