Job Title: Global Head, Methodology & Practices

• Provide support, oversight and reporting on the progress made by the audit teams in delivering on the annual audit plan
• Actively engage in responses to regulatory requests and reviews across the group, ensuring third line methodology keeps pace with and responds to evolving regulatory expectations
• Lead research, development, maintenance and learning of relevant methodologies, practices, procedures, and common audit and review programs undertaken for the benefit of the Internal Audit and Credit Risk Review practices, including emerging risk areas
• Actively ensure compliance with regulatory, industry and best practice expectations for financial institution third line functions
• Accountable for developing/enhancing, executing and coordinating key audit planning related processes and activities across IA (eg . audit universe refresh, annual risk assessment, annual audit planning creation)

Job Summary

As Global Head, you will lead the development, maintenance, communication and training of global methodologies for the CAE Group. You will ensure that methodologies are aligned with global regulatory, industry and best practice expectations for financial institution leading edge internal audit functions through ongoing research. You will also lead the process to support Internal Audit (IA) Teams in relation to maintenance of the audit universe, audit plan creation, plan monitoring, platform liaison and oversight; including related reporting and lead ad hoc IA special projects and initiatives to align with leading practices.
