Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Quality, Maintenance, Materials, Engineering and Tooling departments to identify and resolve all production related problems
• Lead initiatives and analysis on capital investment and optimal labour scheduling
• Prioritise health and safety within the workplace
• Create robust KPIs that add value to the process and systems
• Support open and constructive communication through all levels of the organization
• Provide clarity and direction on operational objectives
• Responsible for the shipping and receiving of materials within operation
• Ensure policy and procedure is well defined and understood within each functional area
• Collaborate with the corporate executive group and Plant departmental heads to optimize equipment and labour capabilities
• Encourage employee engagement with an inclusive leadership style

Key Personal Parameters:

• Cross functional experience an asset
• Demonstrable success with leading projects and initiatives that optimize Customer requirements
• A minimum of five years leading an automotive manufacturing operational group
• Marry Customer requirements with the optimal operational capabilities of your equipment and teams
• Demonstrable expertise in elevating your teams to a higher performance through personal and team based development initiatives
