The Financial Accountant/Analyst will support the financial accounting and reporting activities of the organization. Within this performance-oriented culture, the role will work closely with the Finance Director and Controller in reporting, analysis and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Ad hoc analysis and other duties as assigned.
• Monitor customer rebate programs, in partnership with the Sales team, including detailed tracking and reconciliation for contract compliance; Identify and execute process improvement.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process
• Participate in various month-end and year-end activities, including the preparation of journal entries and the investigation of issues.
• Review and test business continuity plans annually.
• Participation in projects with focus on continuous improvement
• Provide support in the event of project internal and/or external audit to provide necessary documentation/procedures.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts, ensure accuracy and completeness with sufficient detail/documentation before uploading into Blackline.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business or related major
• Ability to take initiative and work independently and /or in a team environment.
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience
• Attention to detail and ability to be flexible and adaptable to a changing environment to provide results.
• Well organized self-starter with analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritize workflow.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Completion of CPA or final stage of actively pursuing professional designation
