Job Description
Join a top employer and advance your career. Aplin has partnered with our client to recruit a temporary Executive Assistant based in downtown Edmonton.


Our client, a division within the Government, is looking for a high level Executive Assistant to assist the Executive team for an immediate 5 month term. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in policy amendments, arranging meetings and creating agenda packages, and research. If you are an organized, professional and enjoy a high level of responsibility, then this may be the opportunity for you.


Responsibilities


  • Processing expenses and entering into the system
  • Arranging meeting rooms and catering
  • Editing policies as required by Executive team
  • Other Administrative duties as required
  • Contacting appropriate parties regarding requests and meetings
  • Creating meeting agendas and taking meeting minutes
  • Calendar Management for Executive team
  • Researching legislation as applicable


Qualifications


  • At least 5 years+ of experience as an Executive Assistant- Government Experience is Preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel skills
  • A quick learner with exceptional multi-tasking abilities
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
