We manufacture and sell aluminum trim systems for lap siding, panel systems and aluminum composite materials (ACM), primarily in the United States and Canada. We are seeking an estimator with 3-5 years’ experience to join our team.

FOCUS

This position is responsible for running estimating software to estimate material takeoffs from PDFs for multi-family, single-family, and non-residential projects. Establishing and maintaining an excellent relationship with sub trades, suppliers and clients is essential.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Perform quantity and material takeoff.
• Has a keen eye for detail.
• Team player; work under pressure; attention to detail; tight deadlines are a must.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to effectively plan, execute, and monitor projects to successful completion within a timely manner.
• Identify potential areas of concern and provide alternative solutions.
• Preferably has experience in fit-out works and/or exterior finishes.
• Trouble shoot customer needs via phone calls, emails and other means of communication.
• Minimum 3 years experience as an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor.
• Knowledgeable in preparation of Bill of Quantities and Bill of Materials.
• Must be able to work with the various stakeholders of the projects: General Contractors, Developers, Consultants, Architects and Sales Team(s), etc.
• Excellent in reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.
• Must have effective communication skills.
• Proficient in spoken and written English, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate in an English-speaking work environment.
• Willing to travel to job sites as necessary.
• Excellent in Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor level education in Civil Engineering or Architecture required.
• Estimating experience in software such as Planswift or On-Screen Takeoff - must have at least one to estimate material takeoffs from PDFs for multi-family, single-family, and non-residential projects.

Salary: $68,141.00 per year
