Reporting to the Production Supervisor, Fabricators or “Cubers” are responsible for the construction of Custom Cubes' projects. Fabricators are knowledgeable in various trades and are versatile in their skillset. Fabricators are passionate about quality and precision, and in turn, customer satisfaction. They are skilled and careful, ensuring safe work practices are prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Other related duties as required.
• Fully cleaning up all construction and work areas at the end of each shift.
• Constructing projects according to specs provided by project plans.
• Keeping common work areas and construction areas organized and tidy during construction, as needed.
• Troubleshooting construction-related issues and involving the Production Supervisor to resolve issues, where necessary.
• Working collaboratively with other Fabricators to complete construction.
• Prepping materials in preparation for each job.

Qualifications

• Ability to keep the job site tidy and organized.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Learning and growth mindset; willing to undergo training if necessary.
• 2-3 years of general trades experience on job sites.
• Specialized trades experience in addition to 2-3 years of general trades experience is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated effective verbal communication skills.
• General knowledge gained from experience, of the majority of the following skills: metal fabrication, steel cutting, carpentry, painting, framing, door and window installation, wall paneling, and finishing.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to learn new skills quickly.
• Team-oriented and positive attitude.
• Experience in working safely with a variety of power tools.
