Responsibilities:
Working with ESS, FSC, and EST to collaborate, manage and increase the sales of the equipment product offering to the targeted accounts within the combined territories of the organized team;
Utilizing the specialized training and skills, the EST will participate in most Equipment selling processes with the FSC to drive sales growth in High Tech, Operatory, Technology and Software product offerings;
Communicate effectively with Operations Manager and Equipment Team to ensure proper implementation within the stated branch location;
Work closely with Equipment Team to steer and develop programs, events, and promotions to increase and aid exposure and sales of HSCI;
Monitor all Installation project stages from initiation through to project closure;
Work with Contractors and TSMs on site to ensure project timelines are met;
Act as a customer liaison to ensure customer satisfaction with the installation process;
Ensures that service orders and repair follow-ups are completed in a timely and efficient manner
Receives escalated field calls from customers, technicians, and sales representatives and performs timely follow-up and response to service requests;
Enhance internal and external customer relationships with responsive, focused and timely service and communication;
Maintain and repair various types of dental equipment used in dental offices by providing a high level of technical support (supporting own territory and the territories of the service team);
Complete work orders and customer billings accurately and on a timely basis, in accordance with company procedures and guidelines;
Plan regular co-travel days with FSCs, ESSs to promote and close new and renewal PMA contracts;
Participate in training sessions for ESTs to cover all activities related to service;
Maintains open communication with Operations Manager and Branch Manager- National Service Manager;
Responds to emergency calls promptly and efficiently and assist other TSMs when required;
Work daily towards positive TSM relations and team building/team spirit;
Attends regular service meetings (e.g. monthly);
Ensure work orders, billings and parts inventory are managed and/or completed as per company expectations;
Complete all relevant paperwork (PMA documentation, work orders, billings and parts inventory)
Participate in special projects and performs other duties as required and requested by Branch Manager;
Other:
Travel in an extensive, specific geographical region(s) on a daily basis is required;
Getting in and out of car on a daily basis throughout the day to meet with customers;
Standing, sitting, laptop work;
Frequent exposure to customers; handling of queries and calls;
Heavy unpacking, lifting, moving and packing of products (up to 100lbs) is required;
Utilizes typical office equipment;
Working at customers’ sites or in shop utilizing typical shop tools;
Exposure to electrical pressurized air and hot water during repair of equipment;
Experience:
Post-secondary education in business or a related field
Ten years or more in an Equipment Service Technician role
Minimum of 2 years of successful business to business sales
3 to 5 years of sales experience/territory sales management
Previous capital equipment experience
Dental experience is an asset but not required
